How To Import, Export, Android User Dictionary To SD Card And Delete All Words Easily

Android user dictionary can add essential words that useful for writing SMS, emails, etc. If your android phone’s added lots of words, and you need to backup and restore ( export /import ) them currently there is no way. In addition to that you can delete all the words in your user dictionary.  


UDM is one of the useful android app that can fully manage your phone user dictionary. Actually its not maintain any dictionary on your phone, it only manage. If we look at its features,

  • Import and export words ( SD card )
  • Import words from TXT files
  • Search end edit single words
  • Bulk words delete
  • Change the font size



Unfortunately this application not works on all the phones. 


How to use User Dictionary manager.

  • Download application on the Play store using following links

scan QR code

  • After the installation finished run the User Dictionary manager app
  • Tap “Export” button for save the word list to your SD card
  • Tap “Import” button for restore word list that on your SD card
  • Tap “Delete” button for wipe all the words in your user dictionary. 
  • Tap “Clean” button to remove any duplicate words 
How to change the export file location.
  • To change the export file location run the application
  • Tap “Menu” button on your phone
  • Tap “Preference” 
  • Under the “Locations” tap “Export/Import Location”
  • Now type the destination location that you want to save the file.
