How To Make Own Android Custom ROM Easily With Customizations

Building own android custom ROM for your Samsung, HTC, Sony, and any other devices now more easier. You can make a unique ROM for your phone or tablet. This method you need not any special knowledge, using a Windows computer and a based ROM we can do it. However this method based ROM should be work on your device and it should be a stable. Moreover it should be flashable zip file. Your based ROM bugs appears your own ROM, so keep it in your mind.

This is not a complete ROM making process, it only replaces system and user apps with or without data. Don’t think about your a developer.

This method we use Custom ROM maker, Windows computer software tool. When you use this method, don’t replace the camera and similar essential apps. 

Most of the cases these system apps which use hardware may not work, they require extra depending files, permission and modifications. But you can replace home launcher, keyboard, etc stuff.

Rooting, flashing custom ROM’s void your phone’s warranty. If your device bricked by following this method, i can’t get its risk. Applying this method at your own risk. 


  • First download Rom Maker in here.
  • After download completed extract downloaded zip file and run the “The Rom Maker.exe” file. 
  • When you run the application, it will notify if there’s a new version. 
  • Welcome window click “New Project”.
  • In the new custom ROM window give your own unique name, and select the base ROM.
  • To begin the modification click “Start Customizations”.
  • Right side of the “Customize my ROM” window sort existing apps using system, user. Apart from that, you can replace the rigging tones.
  • To add new apps click “Add” button and to remove click “Remove” button. Apart from that you can save your base ROM apps and data to your hard disk. 
  • After all the customizations completed, to build the ROM click “Make my own ROM”.
  • Wait for a few seconds to compress all files into a zip file.
  • In the “Success! Now..” window select “I’m Done” or “Push My ROM to SD card”.
  • Now you have done. Flash the new ROM using your phone or tablet recovery like normal.
