Free SMS Popup Notification App For Android

Android operating system doesn’t provide a popup notification window for new SMS. But some of the custom ROM, such as Cyanogen has that feature. Now we can use a popup notification for every text message. SMS Popup is the best app for that. It’s a free and doesn’t supports ads.

Using popup over the locked screen you can read new text without unlocking your phone. However there is a one limitation, after you read new message using this free app, Android default SMS app and notification tray icon not disappear. To do that open your default SMS app (Inbox) then presses menu key on your phone tap on the Setting and unchecked “Notifications“.
